Fusing Nature’s Beauty with Innovative Design and Adventurous Spirit
For this project, we worked closely with the designers at Skylab Architecture to introduce our spalted maple veneer into their vision. Once we identified a general grade they were drawn to, we began selecting specific books that would complement the design. This level of hand-selection is not part of our typical process, but for a project of this scale, it was well worth the additional effort.

After collaborating with the design team, we coordinated with three different mill shops to source all required materials.
This project demanded a wide range of lengths and product types, which challenged our small team at times.
Our spalted maple was incorporated throughout the store in multiple applications. Here, you can see it featured in the changing room door.
